General Services Administration
INSTALLATION OF SAFETY & DRIVE LANE DETOURS
This project was completed in a remote facility and included: excavation of foundations, installations of equipment islands and walkways, drive lanes, electrical conduit/high and low voltage control boxes and panel work, structural concrete, installation of radiation portal monitors and license plate reader equipment, welding, structural steel work, and security/protection bollards. Due to volume of tourism, the project was to be performed during the winter months, in extreme weather conditions.


Dept of the Interior, National Park Service
CONSTRUCT PLANT PROPAGATION FACILITY PROJECT
This $551K project was to design/build a Plant Propagation Center for the Olympic National Park in Washington and to develop the 5-acre parcel of land for the facility. Project included: design build of 2,100 SF greenhouse, relocation of 568 SF office, concrete, finish carpentry, framing, glazing, electrical, install windows, painting, remote location, traffic control/public safety, plumbing, excavation, paving and irrigation pump.


Federal Law Enforcement Training Center
MARITIME PRACTICAL APPLICATION TRAINING FACILITY
This project provided a training walkway, floating dock, and a lift to sink a boat. This facility now allows law enforcement to simulate a sinking ship and train with different water and boat craft scenarios.

DESIGN-BUILD BOULDER CREEK BUILDING #2
This $960K project consisted of demolishing the existing dwelling and constructing a 16,000 SF design-build office building in its place. Northcon provided all architectural, engineering, and construction administration services for this multi-tenant office building.


Kootenai Electric Cooperative, Inc
FIGHTING CREEK LANDFILL GAS TO ENERGY PROJECT
This $1.2M project was the construction of a landfill gas-to-energy facility. The building is a CMU building with six interior rooms and one lean-to on the east side. The engine room is fully enclosed by CMU walls and contains two generators and other equipment. There are four large roof top exhaust fans, a crane, and overhead doors for access. The electrical room has a large switchgear in the center of the room with electrical control equipment all around the walls. There is an operator station room with a small kitchen, one bathroom and an office. The storage room contains the water heater, washout sinks, eye wash area, and other accessories.


Creech Air Force Base
CONSTRUCT BDOC FACILITY PROJECT
This $737K project was to construct the Base Defense Operations Center at Creech AFB, NV. This is a design-build of a 3,000 SF office that will house the security forces and armory for the base. This facility will allow the occupancy of 10 people. Work included; site preparation and paving, installation of electrical, lighting, HVAC, plumbing, communication, fire protection, and mass notification systems. Building has two exits and fully functional zoned, split system heat pump for the facility and a dedicated split system heat pump for the communication room.

RESEAL EXTERIOR & REPAIR FIRE ALARM IN BUILDING 1001
This $2.6M project includes: Weatherproofing & fire alarm work — demolition, concrete, masonry, pressure washing, weatherproofing, exterior sealant, windows, electrical, fire alarm system.

BOULDER CREEK BUILDING #3
This $1.3M project consisted of constructing a 20,000 SF design-build office building that included a 100-seat auditorium. Northcon provided all architectural, engineering, and construction administration services for this ground-up project that completed on-time and on-budget.


MICC Fort Hood
CONSTRUCT NEW ADMINISTRATION BUILDING 56359
This $481K project was the Construction of a new 3,200 SF Administration Facility. Project included; surveying, site prep, excavation, concrete footers and forms, crane work, doors, drywall, electrical, framing, llazing, HVAC, fire suppression and mass notification systems installation, communication systems, painting, plumbing, welding/manufacturing, install windows, finish carpentry and pre-engineered steel building.

RENOVATE ANG TRAINING FACILITIES TO LEED SILVER CERTIFICATION
Project includes: Replace existing windows to meet atfp standards, install new roof membranes, fire sprinklers, upgrade electrical, lighting and hvac systems. site work to construct equipment pads and associated power, data and grounding systems. complete asbestos & hazmat study, asbestos abatement, concrete, crane work, demolition, doors, excavation, finish carpentry, floor coverings, framing, glazing, landscape repairs, lead base paint abatement, painting, plumbing, structural framing repairs.


General Services Administration, Missoula Federal Office Building in Missoula, Montana
HISTORICAL WINDOW PROJECT
This $1.7M project required the removal and replacement of 813 windows and their hardware for the Missoula Federal Office Building in Montana. All items were matched, painted, and re-installed to their original historical profile.


USDA Seattle District, Blaine, WA
FIBER OPTIC RELOCATION PROJECT
This was a relocation and installation of a camera and fiber optic cable bundle. A deep 27' drilled foundation was poured for an 80' monopole and security camera. The pole is located approximately 40' from Interstate 5 near the Canadian border.


General Services Administration, Old Eugene Federal Courthouse, Oregon
VHA/VBA DESIGN-BUILD PROJECT
This $2.4M design-build project covered approx. 14,136 SF. LEED building principles in products and procedures were used. The design effort was encouraged to incorporate sustainable features and compared operating efficiencies which allowed for the additional incorporation of long term cost reducing solutions.


Federal Law Enforcement Training Center
TACTICAL TRAINING APARTMENT
This project was to provide an apartment for the purposes of tactical training for law enforcement. The apartment entrance was a rammable door, used for the training of officers entering into hostile situations. The apartment inside was furnished and staged to resemble an actual living space.

INSTALL LOBBY SECURITY SCREENING STATION
This was a design-build of a bullet resistant, wall and glass security screening station for the Spokane Court Security Officer. The design mimicked the existing millwork in the lobby of the building.

This was a historical design-build of a bullet resistant, wall and glass security screening station for the Yakima Court Security Officer.


General Services Administration, Piegan Port of Entry, Mont
CONSTRUCT 1,500 SF BUILDING ADDITION
This $1.2M project was contracted to Northcon to construct a matching building. This project had two challenges: 1. The extreme weather conditions and 2. Its remote location, making access to materials and subcontractors very limited. Much to our customers delight, all challenges were successfully handled and the building was completed on-time and on-budget.


National Park Service, Lake Hotel in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming
HISTORICAL COLUMNS PROJECT
Removed and replaced hotel front columns, bases and concrete steps. All items were matched, painted, and bases were custom made to match their original historical profile.


US Fish & Wildlife Service
Malheur National Wildlife Refuge, Princeton, Oregon
CONSTRUCT FISH PASSAGES & SCREENS
This $2.5M project was for the construction of 7 different fish passages and screens, located in the Malheur Wildlife Refuge, with some as far as 48 miles apart. This project was accomplished during the 5th wettest year since 1902 with river flows rising as much as 4' in one hour. Project included; Structural Steel and demo, concrete, excavation, and water control in an environmentally and geologically sensitive area.


Preston, Idaho
COTTONWOOD FISH LADDER
The project included the following: Site demolition, trenching, backfilling and compaction, excavation and fill, slope protection and erosion control, concrete framework and reinforcement, structural steel framing, metal fabrications, slide gate valves, bypass piping, fish screen panels, and steel paddle wheel for energy source for the fish screens. The resting pools featured in picture were created by the weirs.


US Army Corp of Engineers - Seattle District
Chelan County, Washington
25 MILE CREEK DOCK PROJECT
This $998K project was for the demolition and removal of an existing pier, ramp and dock. Work also included; construction of a fixed pier, a ramp that provides access from the pier to the dock, and a floating dock with a boat slip. This dock serves as a point of departure for all uplake administrative activities on the Chelan Ranger District and docks fire fighting boats.


State of Washington - Dept of Fish & Wildlife, Dayton, WA
DAYTON ACCLIMATION PONDWAY FISHWAY & SCREENS
This $1.5M project was contracted to Northcon to build the Dayton Fish Ladder. The controlled fish trap is used to catch the native steelhead and is used for the WA Dept of Fish & Wildlife breeding program. The project included the following: river diversion, excavation, heavy hauling, structural concrete and steel, electrical, demolition, stream bead reconstruction, HDPE Pipeline, survey/staking, fencing, eco block walls, sheet piles and roadway boring.

REPAIR REVETMENT WALL
This $708K project includes: Demolition: remove and discard/recycle off base, all exterior panels and internal support structure. Remove sand within retaining wall (keep moist/retain for reuse) site work, construct new revetment wall, painting.


USDA Forest Service, Clearwater National Forest
HISTORIC LOOKOUT TOWER RECONSTRUCTION
This $73K project is a remote facility location with a 50-foot working elevation above ground, and includes heavy frame & hardware construction, welding/manufacturing, and finish carpentry.

SHORT STAY WALL
This $ 1.3M project included the demolition of existing lake wall, sheet pile installation, concrete caps, backfill behind new lake wall, relocated picnic tables & trashcans, topsoil & sod.
